The absence of police responding to Twin Peaks is just one of several contradictions in the narrative since the shooting took place.

Sooner or later they will have to explain in court why they were there in numbers, with the ATF, before any problems were evident.

From the article:

“Two days after the shooting, a Twin Peaks waitress posted this comment to Facebook: “There are always fights on bike nights, so we expected the usual. Nobody thought it was gonna be taken this far.””

Read my link in #4. Problems were very evident unless you want to believe the shyster lawyer.

Thanks for getting me to re-read that article. I skimmed right by the “affidavits say” entries earlier. What affidavits? Has anyone in the media reviewed them independently?

Yes, excerpting is a nuisance for us but, Yahoo wants us to see their ads. I can’t fault them for wanting to make a buck.

Anyhow, it’s a good article. It provides a pretty comprehensive summary of the situation and informs us that the media is having difficulty getting info from the Waco PD.

Your word choice works - also could use Liar or Slanderer of FReepers. A blight upon Free Republic.

I ran into him once before. It is the word that fit him best in that encounter.
Delusional would work too but it’s not as descriptive.

There's a good reason that Swanton has been removed from fulfilling his duty as spokesman and the Chief is taking over comm.

Swanton was in way over his head. Hope we will hear more from Stroman and especially that Stranahan from Breitbart gets there for the next presser.

Well, they did sort of retroactively declare the Cossacks motorcycle club to be a criminal gang, long vying for control with the Bandidos.

Since there is an official threat list of Texas criminal motorcycle gangs and the members of the Cossacks never did enough to gain a place on it...it turns out that the “Rivalry” is merely “won’t pay protection money demanded by the Bandidos”.

This take is bolstered by an incident last year in which Bandidos attacks some Cossacks in a bar.

It’s not that there are no bad actors, just that the police went beyond a broad brush and pulled out a commercial sprayer to paint almost everyone in the parking lot or eating at the restaurant patio as a drug dealing motorcycle pimp.

Apparently the Cossacks aren't as bad as the Black Widows then.

I remember that goofball article.

Yup. Troops can just walk off base with grenades and C-4.
I barely made it passed the article to the commentary because I knew there would be people who couldn’t spot any flaw in the premise.

But if you have folks believing everyone who rides a motorcycle is a drug dealer or pimp then it is no surprise that they believe that military personnel can walk off with all kinds of ordnance whenever they please.
