I think it's the opposite. The average American voter is tuned in but has a short attention span. They'll be so sick of the political circus freak show that by the time the election rolls around, most won't be tuned in and will stay home.

Maybe you’re right..
Then again, I think voters can be enticed or encouraged to make the best out of a bad situation, and at least not support a candidate who has an atrocious trackrecord, like Hillary.
