If you’ve not read Jeff Shaara’s “In a Blaze of Glory” about the battle of Shiloh, then you’ll love it.
I’ll try to get that to read. I’ll tell anyone though, there is NOTHING glorious about war. My dad was in the Army Infantry in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy & finally, Germany, during WWII. His great, great grandfather was a Confederate at Shiloh. Blood, guts, seeing your buddies blown away; grabbing a buddy & trying (& failing) to pull him down off a wall at Monte Casino; but seeing his head blown off by a sniper & brains landing on your shirt instead. Shiloh WAS a mess of confusion & blood & guts. - Some of my folks escaped combat, others didn’t; but those who didn’t could NEVER escape the horror of it. (Daddy always held it against those he called “draft dodgers”; but somehow, Bill Clinton managed to talk a good enough game that he convinced my dad he was OK. Daddy still voted for Reagan; but Clinton always got a pass.)
I would offer this observation. If it were possible to convert a guy into a Klingon-warrior-dude....for roughly $25,000....I think you’d have around 100,000 people line up for the surgery. This really spells out the whole gimmick....people want to be something else and modern science can deliver on that.
It’s the same way with the tattoo fad. People now spend $10,000 to get six to eight tattoos. It gives them some creative side and makes them feel different.
I will go out and predict this....within five years....someone will want to be Male-Female (both)....in one single package. And we will invent a whole new term, and a new plastic surgery to make them happy.

I was aware that the official Diagnostic Manual of the American Psychiatric Association was purged, in the early 1970s, by gay ideologues/activists, of any reference to homosexuality as a psychiatric disorder.
But I was unaware that this same crew, after "normalizing" homosexuality as far as mental health is concerned, managed to insert a new class of psychiatric disorder: The irrational fear of a gay person to "come out of the closet" because of the prevailing social stigma regarding gay sexual behavior in our culture.
Yikes. This maneuver is positively satanic in its cynicism, disdain for, and ravening hatred of the historic common American culture — founded on Christian principles, rational and moral — on which a free people — who are free because they are "under God" — depend for their flourishing.

There is a new reality show set to start this fall with a cute little girl/boy? who is transgender. I have no idea if surgery has been done.
