Dem Operative Rallies Conservatives Against "Obamatrade"

Self-described progressive Democrat Curtis Ellis finds receptive ears on conservative blogs and talk radio.

A leading voice against a pending Asian free trade agreement is tailoring his message to the country’s grassroots conservatives, but until recently he described himself as a progressive and worked for union-backed Democrats.

Globalist bankers, global corporations, financial elites and the NWO are hijacking our nation and destroying our middle class. The opposition is American and not D/R, and .against those who would destroy our culture. The partisan divide only serves to divide us instead of uniting the country.

Mr. Ellis has nothing to do with influencing the conservative opposition. Can’t name a soul who ever heard of the man.

My best influencer is the timing of this blasted authority bill coming up while there is too much time on the clock with America left stuck under a president like Obama.

The talking points and 15 more months of Obama don’t correlate. Fear matters and trust is dead.

The same way RINOs and Dems can team up, occasionally the Labor Focused left and conservative Patriots causes can line up, sometimes for different reasons wanting the same outcome of a bill but each wanting different futures down the line.

So when RINOs and Dems practice governing “Bi-partisanship” and the media is all like it is a great thing and they spew “Governance is working” with cheers and elation....

But....

Should a Democrat have his cause coinciding with the Populist Conservative American values and all of the sudden this lowly Dem is some sorta diabolical puppet master who is cleverly manipulating all these rock dumb conservatives behind the scenes.... Because it fits the media narrative of “Conservatives cannot do anything smart because we have convinced ourselves that they are dumb because liberal always is supposed to equal smart...” That is the height of the media Hubris.
