To me, this is a confirmation of the Biblical flood. It also could be part of the reason why the large plates on the earth keep moving around.
Me too. When I saw the headline, I immediate thought, “fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened.” Gen 7:11 Water was coming from both directions...down from the sky, and up from the deep.

And earlier in Genesis, we read,
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. (Gen 2:6)
Science is at last confirming what we already knew if we were to believe what is written in God’s Word...
