Oprah would have been better than Obama as President. Then the first woman President and first African American President would have both been achieved too. Then maybe the country could start getting the best person for the job rather than the first this or that.

I always considered an “publishing/speaking” restrictions to mean that I wouldn’t divulge any secrets that were still secrets. I had clearances and also served as a Security Manager (the guy who facilitated/oversaw clearances and gave folks all the papers to sign. SSOs had a few more papers to make us all sign, but in many cases the biggest difference was not so much the wording but whether or not extra witnesses were needed (stuff gets arc hived for 50 years once the person separates - try to get a witness that’s still alive in 45 years or who can remember anything after 15 years or so...)
