Twitter can’t stop laughing at Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign logo

If you’re running to become president of the United States, it’s pretty important to deliver a campaign that’s filled with authority, power and conviction.

But try telling that to Jeb Bush, after the Republican hopeful unveiled this logo for his campaign – complete with a weirdly placed exclamation mark.

It certainly doesn’t look like the hallmark of a man who’s trying to get into the Oval Office, but instead comes across like some kind of short-lived domestic sitcom from the 1980s.

Apparently, he’s used the logo for all his political activities since 1994, but that doesn’t make it any less shouty and overly familiar.

Originally the “first name” logo was intended to give a more personal, one-on-one feel to the candidate (”Lamar!”), but now it’s just exploited by cynical politicians with baggage-carrying last names (Clinton, Bush).

Don’t see Ted Cruz or Scott Walker afraid to show their last names.
