More like: “what if Pearl Harbor had happened, and our government actively aided it while simultaneously trying to hide and obfuscate the truth?”

When Nazi Germany occupied France early on in World War II, they found that the French kept more detailed dossiers on their people than the Gestapo did on Germans! The Nazis had to step up their game to catch up!
