I was for Santorum in 2012. I'm leaning Walker at this time, Cruz would be my second favorite, but haven't endorsed any candidate at this point.

That being said, the double standards the media gives Santorum vs. Fiorina is ridiculous, and its sad to see freepers go along with it and drink the kool-aid.

Santorum had a long successful political career before losing a Senate race in a Dem state by double digits in 2006. The media treats Santorum as an embarassing joke. Fiorina had a long unsuccessful career in private sector and political agenda before losing a Senate race in a Dem state by double digits in 2010. The media treats her as a rising conservative star and top prospect for veep.

Santorum had a long track record in the conservative wing of the party, though endorsing his home state senator Specter after Bush twisted his arm, and endorsing Romney in 2012 after the only alternatives left were McCain and Huckabee (90% of freepers did likewise at the time) were poor decisions. Fiorina had a long track record in the center-right wing of the party, so endorsing RINOs and volunteering to be an adviser for the McCain & Romney campaigns were poor decisions that were not surprising coming from her. Santorum gets crucified for his last minute Romney endorsement, while Fiorina being tied to the hip of Romney & McCain gets swept under the rug because she's a "fighter".

Candidates like Trump and Fiorina are detractions from the real conservatives in the race. I hope they don't last long in the primary.

I was for Santorum in 2012 as well, but now I like a few of them, including Santorum.

Since I voted (while firmly holding my nose) for Romney in the General Election to stop Obama, I can’t blame Santorum for endorsing him last minute either. Rick didn’t endorse Romney until the end, when he felt Romney was the lesser of the evils of the remaining GOP candidates at the time.

Rick Santorum is really good at understanding terrorism and ISIS does not like him.

Rick has experience on so many issues. He actually wrote the Welfare Reform bill, was the architect of the effort to ban partial-birth abortion (Rick does more than simply vote pro-life) and got a bill to the floor to stop frivolous law suits against gun manufacturers (which would make them stop manufacturing guns in the U.S.). No wonder NRA gave Rick and A+ rating!

We’d be buying our fire arms from foreign countries - maybe Red China - if it weren’t for Rick.

imo, the media has had an affect on voters’ imperssion of Rick, including GOP voters. They give other candidates a pass for their mistakes, but not Rick.
