President Barack Obama endorsed the Palestinian position on the 1967 lines in 2011 and by so doing altered more than 40 years of American policy without prior consultation with Israel, former ambassador to the US Michael Oren writes in a book to be published later this month.

Oren, in an account of the book that appeared Friday in The New York Jewish Week, wrote that the Prime Minister’s Office was outraged at the move, and instructed him to call congressional leaders.

“Israel felt abandoned, I was to say. And that is no way to treat an ally,” he wrote.

Self-loathing, possibly.

It has taken an inordinate amount of time for some of Obama’s most loyal and financially generous supporters that Obama is an anti Zionist. His emotional sympathies are with the Palestinians.

Israel may be America’s ally and America may be Israel’s ally but Israel is NOT OBAMA’S ally nor that of any of the multitude of Democrats the American Jewish voters seem to reelect almost as a religious exercise.

Obama polls in Israel at 15% approval. Here in USA Jews still like Obama close to 60% approval.

I guess Jews don’t care how bad Obama treats Jews.
Talk is in September the US will obstain from voting against Fakestinian statehood.

Congress should step in and end negotiations with Iran if they want yet another extension of the negotiations while Iran dithers and continues to enrich uranium.

Obama was and is in favor of the suicide 1967 borders.
74% of the British mandate set up the larger state of the Jordanian-Israeli two state solution. Another state would be a 2 to 1 state 3 state solution

mistrust, mistakes and missed opportunities bully in chief, Obama is all of those, the most hostile President toward Israel we've had. The 67 lines, not sure that charge is true, his policies seem to be about the same as GWB's, except he doesn't seem to be demanding a land route from Gaza to the west bank. Pretty much what Arafat rejected in 2000 and Abu Mazen rejected in 2008

In my experience, many Jewish people are only "culturally" Jewish. Their faith (such as it is) does not influence their worldview appreciably.
