Could Michael Brown’s problem be that when McCrory made those high-sounding pronouncements, Brown thought he actually meant it. He obviously didn’t mean them any more than Obunga meant any of the numerous lies he spued before and since his election. IMHO.

I am sick of politicians, but Republican ones are the worst these days.

"Brown's problem"? The writer doesn't have a problem. He's giving the governor a problem. I don't see why you assume that Brown, who is obviously not in his first political rodeo, didn't recognize posturing by a political weasel when it occurred in the past. He's throwing his words back in his face publicly, and to use another metaphor, rubbing salt in the political wound of McCrory's veto being overturned.

The creeps we have always with us, especially if they are Democrats. Mocking McCrory's excuse that he focuses on the important stuff is to undermine his support from conservative voters who have been going along with him. It's tactical and important. Don't assume the writer's outrage is outraged naiveté.
