Crime in Baltimore is a towering story these days. The homicide count in May was 43, the highest in nearly 40 years. Arrests, meanwhile, have dropped through the floor, a situation that some attribute to a reaction to the charges against six Baltimore police officers involved in the Freddie Gray episode, which were announced May 1 by Baltimore States Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police President Gene Ryan has spoken forcefully on behalf of his rank and file: The criminals are taking advantage of the situation in Baltimore since the unrest. Criminals feel empowered now. There is no respect. Police are under siege in every quarter. They are more afraid of going to jail for doing their jobs properly than they are of getting shot on duty, he said in a statement.
So there you have it: A union official speaking clearly on the record, ripping the authorities for their decision to go after Baltimore police officers in the Gray case. Why, then, do cable news outlets feel so compelled to haul in Baltimore cops, shroud them in darkness and alter their voices just to have them deliver the same message?[continued]

Heretofore, I thought MSM liked “man on the street” interviews and “UNNAMED/ANONYMOUS SOURCES.”
Not when it gores their oxen.
WaPo doesn’t like cops complaining about a RAT pol stabbing them in the back. If she was a Pub, they’d love it.
Same page has a ridiculous story about how requiring pistol permits caused the murder rate to fall 40% over 30 years. No mention of the fact that murder rates fell by 40% everywhere in the last 30 years, permits required or not. Liars.
” A union official speaking clearly on the record, ripping the authorities for their decision to go after Baltimore police officers in the Gray case. Why, then, do cable news outlets feel so compelled to haul in Baltimore cops, shroud them in darkness and alter their voices just to have them deliver the same message?”
Because that message can’t be pounded hard enough into idiot’s skulls.
Instead, they say they need more interviews with Democrat politicians lying and then repeating the lies over and over again.
The Washington Post does not want to see people on TV telling the truth.
These officers were telling the truth. They must be silenced. Immediately.
The clowns at WP don’t like being exposed as the clowns they are.
“Why, then, do cable news outlets feel so compelled to haul in Baltimore cops, shroud them in darkness and alter their voices just to have them deliver the same message?”
This has got to be killing the propagandists at the WP, exposing them over and over as clowns and liars.
Take note all, this is how you destroy media liars and subject them to ridicule.
The poison that infects most police departments is embodied in Superintendents, etc. that are appointed by the local political suck-asses.
Most cops cannot say what they feel, relate their experiences, or disclose their mental anguish; because if they did so openly, they would be put under investigation, accused of being racists, or put on a psych-list and never be able to own a firearm again.
When these men and women in uniform go Galt for good, society will pay a HUGH price, believe it.
Oh, why not?
Maryland "Freak State" PING!
They do this for the same reason as the witness protection program.
It’s always good when the media shows its TRUE COLORS.
In this case, the have a problem with the First Amendment because it’s allowing the TRUTH to get out about Baltimore.
Oh well....never mind.
Mind you language, please; there are ladies present.
