They claim to champion "civil liberties," but are very subjective in the "civil liberties" they champion. The pattern over the past 95 years is far too consistent to be accidental. (See, for example, Leftist Word Games & First Amendment Guarantees.)
One of the most precious actual civil liberties, is the right of a community to have its social values reflected in its public schools. What the ACLU is about is a step by step dismantling of community social values--dismantling the social infrastructure that makes a local community function.
The ACLU is a prime mover in destruction of American mores to pave the way for their Marxist ideal. They are pushing the gay agenda but know once they succeed and America is Marxist, then the gays and transgender (whatever that means) will wind up banned and headed to the gulags

The only sex-related issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
So PC interpretations of Congress’s Commerce Clause powers aside, interpretations which have been used to justify all kinds of unconstitutional, vote-winning federal laws imo, since the feds actually have no constitutional authority to address sex-related issues outside the context of voting, please consider the following.
The pro-LGBT activist ACLU is wrongly trying to use a constitutionally unprotected, PC “right” to trump the 10th Amendment-protected power of the people to provide gender-specific high school facilities imo.
