Are you as confused about the Trade Promotion Authority bill/trade agreement/drama as much as I am? Sen. Jeff Sessions is one of it’s most outspoken critics, and was on “Hannity” recently to warn about what’s being discussed…
“I’ve been there three times and I can tell you it is far more than a trade agreement,” he said. “It is a creating of an economic union. The congressional resource said it is a wide-ranging political and economic partnership that is created where the Sultan of Brunei gets one vote. The president of the United States gets one vote. Twelve countries – they have the ability to add other treaties and pass them. They have the ability to deal with climate issues, wage issues and environmental issues. There’s just no doubt about that.”
The Senator went on to say that he thinks the main reason it’s being “kept secret” is because if people were aware of it they would stop it “dead in it’s tracks,” and went on to compare it to the European Union. But then you read articles in the Washington Free Beacon and Federalist contradicting a lot of the rumors about this, so…I really don’t know.
Jeff Sessions has long been one of my leading choices for president. He doesn’t seem interested.
Too bad the younglings senators don’t all feed at the well of his knowledge and integrity.

I’m with you. Sessions has proven to be the dart board champion. If he says it, it is gospel. Who can provide that kind of trust.
You are exactly right that the youngsters need to check their answers, every time, whenever they come up on the wrong side of Jeff Sessions.

The vote is tomorrow, if I understand correctly.
It is way past time to realize our once governing institutions have been corrupted to purposes that oppose republican liberty and are fast tracking us into a hard tyranny.
It is time to reassert popular sovereignty and take back the powers that are swirling into the executive branch.
The senators seem to be siding in large part with the executive. Are they voting in favor of a dictatorship?
Could they be that craven and naïve?
That’s what I am hearing. These quislings are desperate to pass the bill before too many people wake up. They are going to be shocked when half the GOP electorate just sits home next year. Constant betrayal will do that to you.
Be careful not to overlook Putin’s moves in the Asian Pacific which to date have been successful...and why our representatives want to get this TPP deal a done deal...Putin’s been having a hay day over there striking deals left and right...and continues to do so. From not just China but throughout the Asian Pacific
