Even little John John?
ST-C281-41-63. John F. Kennedy, Jr. in Speedboat Near Hyannis Port
My fishing boat will do 62.5 MPH. It’s called a bass boat.
The stench of envy is very strong in this one.
It was a beautiful sight. Gleaming mahogany, with leather seats, and lots of chrome, it had a roar like no others. The inboard engine pushed the boat across the lake and around the lake.
Fishing boat? I never saw a pole or a line dangling from it...

liberalism - so stupid it hurts
“he happened to be at an auction,”
I was at an unclaimed freight place 10/15 years ago, and there was this incredible, rebuilt, radial plane engine. It was that cheap, but I was really intrigued! Just couldn’t figure out what I could do with it but maybe try and resell it. I think I should have bought!
I don’t care a thing about speedboats, and yes they can be annoying, but a jealous, class envy-ridden little piece of crap wrote that story.
Also, Windows and Windows NT *have* a hosts
file simply because the Windows Sockets A.P.I. is a direct, unashamed port of the BSD sockets A.P.I.—right down to the function prototypes.
On Windows NT (32-bit and 64-bit, inexplicably), the hosts file is %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
.
Depending on your version of Windows NT, %SystemRoot%
could be C:\Winnt35
(NT 3.5x), C:\Winnt
(NT 3.1, NT 4 and 2000), or C:\Windows
(Windows XP and later).
On Windows, the file is located in C:\Windows
.
Unix, Linux, and Apple: the file is where it should be: /etc/hosts
, which may be a symbolic link. (This is true for smartphones.)
It’s not a speed boat by any stretch.
Add boating to the lengthening list of Things Liberal Reporters Know Nothing About But Write About Anyway. It should fall somewhere between firearms and heterosexual sex...
Not that it matters, but the WWII US M18 Hellcat tank destroyer had a radial plane engine.
I think there was something about having to be somewhat careful in starting it up, particularly after a cold night. Can't recall the details.
Oooh...ChrisCraft. Nice.
Who ARE these people? What about the right to be LEFT ALONE and own whatever boat you want?
Sickening pantywaists.
“the WWII US M18 Hellcat tank destroyer had a radial plane engine.”
That’s interesting! Kinda makes sense from a production point of view.
We have a bass boat, but to each his own.
Your #52 was awesome.
Try a really good bass boat. It’s essentially a shingle with a giant
outboard that drives it at about 70 mph with a quite small wake.
Wow! What a blast from summers past! Spent my summers on a lake when I was a kid and a few of those DIY build pictures shown bring back some nice boating memories!
