I do not have proof of that, but I definitely suspect that as a motive. It also puts tax dollars in the hands of the political allies of liberals. Like they have done with other issues, they grant someone tax dollars and then those dollars are partially used for political activism, especially court activism. Yes that means lawsuits that demand the political change they cannot achieve in congress. So we end up funding our own demise.
It is part of global government overseen by the UN. And corruption will abound as the money disappears down a rat hole.
