The judge in the Manson trial had flown with the Flying Tigers in WWII and was appointed to the bench by Governor Reagan. VB had his moments of brilliance as a prosecutor and author. As noted above, his dissection of the OJ Simpson trial was the best analysis of the entire fiasco, but he later descended into liberal madness and Bush Derangement Syndrome. RIP Vince.
