When my husband’s grandfather died a few years ago, he left us over a period of days in the hospital.

He was probably the most Godly man I’ve ever known, but not in a lord-it-over-you way...he was completely humble.

The things he said, and saw, as he lay dying in that hospital, would have convinced me to investigate Christianity if I were a non-believer. There was an atmosphere in the room that was almost holy...even the doctors and nurses said they hadn’t seen anything like it.

Personally I think the Lord did it not only to ease him over, but to give us reassurance.

This is good to read, probably worth a vanity thread to delineate what he saw. I believe in these things.

My father was a very Godly man also. The last few days of his life he saw amazing things that he shared with us too. Very similar experiences for both of our loved ones.
