I know. I live within 10 miles of the border. And I have enjoyed its benefits for years.

I live 700 miles northeast. You have no benefits from the fence. None. Although, at one time I did hope such, would be a secondary to primary enforcement.

You have no clue what you are talking about. There was a time when ILLEGAL aliens would trek through my property both day and night. They would pick fruit from my trees, fill their water jugs from my hose, sleep in my garage and my shed and try to hotwire any vehicle on my property. They accosted an elderly neighbor to try and steal her vehicle but she managed to fight them off because she was armed. This all ended with the erection of this fencing which now extends well past our properties and much further into eastern San Diego County. So don't pretend from your vantage point of 700 miles north you are in any way knowledgeable of how beneficial the very effective fencing has been for me and others here in San Diego County. You only make yourself look foolish.

Good. That you benefit from that fence, is great. Yet, the illegals that are no longer threatening you folks, are somehow killing the rest of Our State, as per the last forty years.

Oh I can’t argue with you there. This state is infested with the vermin and the liberal scum running the state is hell-bent on inviting more in. But that is a different issue and unconnected with the fencing. The fencing works, which is why much of the pro-ILLEGAL alien crowd opposes it, Perry being one.

You can not compare the CA border to the TX border. The territory is much different.

Well, I have come to understand that fencing is reliable, to the point of physical entry by old routes. It has by no means slowed the infiltration, at the less observed hundreds of miles of open border. Our Federal Gov’t tends to highscore limited success, in populated areas- so the population is relatively undisturbed.

Yeah, whatever. That horse has been beaten many times and I discovered then that there is no point in trying to explain to a Perry worshiper what their hero says shouldn’t be so I’ll save myself some time and not bother.

Fencing is very reliable. The problem is it while many more miles were budgeted it was never completed. Where it exists it works well.

...”many more miles were budgeted it was never completed...

Sounds like somebody used the funds otherwise..

I’m with you. Conservatives are the poster children of a circular firing squad.

We, of all people, believe in shooting our own wounded.

Our purity of belief is to be respected, but at times it becomes suicidal.

We cling to “our” pure one and demonize and castigate those who hold different opinions, respect different candidates.

While I may disagree with people who decide to belittle the “other” candidate, I wouldn’t categorize them as “illegal lovers”, or “America haters”, or “idiots”, or “crazy”, or “RINOs”, or whatever other pejorative comes to mind.

We can differ without being enemies. We can disagree without becoming contemptible.

When we do that, what separates us from the left in their use of all of the Alinsky tactics?
