Ted Cruz was on with Cavuto today to talk about ‘attacks’ on him by Rick Perry, his disagreement with Rand Paul over the USA Freedom Act, and more.

I was not disappointed by anything Ted said; but I was very upset about how the studio people handled the visit - the camera was much too close to his face .. distorting it somewhat .. although his good looks are hard to distort.
And then, to add insult, they were using a red-tinted screen which gave him that overly sunburned look - but you could tell it was a screen because there was a slight rainbow action which happens when you don’t get the coloring right and the camera moves a certain way and the sunlight catches the edge of the screen.
But .. as much as all the different groups keep trying to mess with Cruz, he just keeps marching on, raising $41 MILLION, having SRO crowds, and receiving standing ovations.
He also loves everybody ... it was hard to listen to this
I thought it was a great interview, positive, hopeful, detailed on solving our current problems, and he was classy as ever.
For a guy that “Loves” the Mobus Strip ... that is hard for me to compute. Think about it .... You are always on the Same Side.

I also happened to hear the interview, and the one word that best describes Cruz’ performance is — smooooth! No matter how Cavuto baited him, Ted refused to engage in any mud slinging, nor become strident at any point.
Did Cruz explain his vote for Obama’s SECRET bill?. Did he say that he read it? Did he explain why he wants to give Obama more power? Did he give at least one reason why he/we should trust Obama? We all know how Obama wants to make the United States more secure and powerful. Or was he so full of love and gentleness that he couldn’t bear to say anything negative, kind of like Joel Osteem.
