The Salvation Army is the only large charitable organization worthy of receiving donations. I don’t even exempt Catholic organizations like CSA and CHD and I am thoroughly Catholic. All these organizations are corrupt to one extent or another and most do not pass through a whole lot of the donated money to actual charitable use, unless you count high salaries and home improvement funds and such. The nominally Catholic orgs have all been outed funding things like Planned Parenthood. What I give goes to projects and people I can see and can see how it is used like paying the light bill for a woman whose husband is suddenly disabled.
No doubt about that ! They're the only group to get mine. Most range from worthless to counterproductive.
