I told my son, at around 3, about his private parts. I told him, after teaching him how to bathe properly, that no one should touch his private parts but himself. I also told him, when he was older, that if an adult did touch a child inappropriately, it is NEVER the child’s fault. Kids need to be protected. There are predatory teens and adults everywhere.

Thanks for posting thst. I’ve already sent the links to family members and friends with small children. Working in local govt, I’ve seen too many court cases involving child abuse. Now I am a grandma, and nobody except me and grandad babysit. She is just 14 months old, but already I worry about the predators who may be driving the school bus or working at the school, or older boys who are in the neighborhood. Son and DIL are considering homeschooling.
