In terms of the 74-percent rise of the one company....I would suspect that they had a fair number of the high-cost players under that umbrella. All you need from one group of a hundred participants.....are eight people who utilize $75,000 of services/requirements in one year....to suddenly cause the insurance company to accelerate their costs onto the participants. This was the issue when you opened up the door and said no prior disease or condition mattered.

I’m fifty-six years old and spent twenty-two years within the AF. If you took all of my medical services/needs/vaccinations into consideration and assigned a cost to them....I probably haven’t passed the $35,000 level in my whole adult life. I’ve worked with people who probably required $300,000 in just a ten-year period.
