If the Barack Obama Presidential Center is built in Washington Park, the city envisions a walking community, where visitors would step off a CTA Green Line train and stroll along decoratively landscaped sidewalks, lined with pedestrian scale lighting and seating areas.
In Jackson Park, visitors might spend an afternoon biking from the lakefront to a well-lit, paved trail through the Midway Plaisance to the Obama center.
The library project comes as the city faces a projected $1 billion budget shortfall next year and agencies such as the CTA are dealing with reduced aid from the state. Efforts to squeeze funding from the state would meet strong resistance in the General Assembly, which is dealing with the budget crisis.
Regardless of where the Obama center goes, the mayor's office has promised to beautify the area and enhanced transit.

Well I’ve lived in Chicago. No way am I taking the L train down to that neighborhood to visit the 0bama library.
There won’t be much strolling through those grounds. No, it will be running at break-neck speed away from the rapists, robbers, and murderers that haunt Black ghettos everywhere. The ghetto surrounds this proposed fairyland as far as the eye can see, and no white person should consider it a stop on a Windy City tour.

Well, hey, in order to make the whole thing genuine Chicago, there really does need to be some graft and corruption and cronyism and kickbacks involving the building of this.
He need to be investigated and destroyed. Piece by piece. Let's look at his transcripts, his SATs, etc. How was he admitted to Harvard? Who paid for his education? He needs to be publically destroyed and humiliated so that even the most hardcore leftist will not admit to having voted for him.
It's brilliant because the documents that reside there are going to get about as much exposure as the documents on Hillary's e-mail server.

Don't be so down on it. Look at the jobs and wealth it will create. Obie's homies can run their prostitute rings through the Men's and Women's bathrooms, and the drug dealers can hook up with buyers at the library. Maybe even sell illegal weapons every now and then.
