Cruz, Walker and Jindal are the best of the lot, to my mind.

The basket is too full already. Time to throw a few extra weights overboard so our Magical Mystery Red Balloon can cut the mooring lines and safely begin to float up to the clouds of Iowa.

I like Jindal, too, although I don’t think he has much of a chance. He’s been a successful governor and he’s not afraid to call things by their names when he speaks.

Probably all the more reason for the GOP-e to hate him...

Jindal...born here of immigrant parents.
He is a citizen but not a natural born citizen.

Bobby is a solid Christian Conservative who has the Third World Albatross of what is Louisiana around his neck.

If he were from Texas, he would have a chance.

If they limit the debate to two hours, by the time everyone is introduced the moderator will say “that’s all the time we have, good night and pray that some of these people who don’t have a snowball’s chance quit before the next debate so we can ask a question or two”

According to one source, Jindal has spent 14 days in Iowa in the last two years.

By contrast, the candidate with the most time in Iowa is Rick Perry, 30 days in two years. Cruz, by contrast, has logged 16 days.

Welcome, Bobby. A good addition to the mix. Worthy of consideration.

Most folks, including most judges, would disagree with you. But your way of thinking is the way it should be!

When growing up, a person is, obviously, very influenced by his parents. If those parents are foreign-born, they will naturally have some loyalty to the old country.

Somewhat divided loyalties, nothing very wrong with that, in general. But it's not something you'd want a potential President to be exposed to.

Louisiana is not a third world albatross, well except for New Orleans. Some of the best engineering and manufacturing in the world is being done in Louisiana. Take a look at some of the new oil platforms and boats being built in Louisiana. I have been to Texas, and around the world. Louisiana is a greatest place in the world to live.

While I have not always agreed with Jindal, I respect him greatly. When he makes a decision, he truly wants to make the things better for Louisiana. Jindal is a nerd and tends to go by the numbers, as a nerd I can respect that. He is a policy wonk, and would be great in the senate or as vp. I trust Jindal, he is a good man.
