I doubt it. Lefties do all sorts of environmentally negative things, like windmills, and the enviros just jump and cheer all the more because they are not environmentalists. They are communists and for a particular group of them Environmentalism is a tool. The same goes for Feminism and Civil Rights and Safe Cities and every other self righteous group on the left.
