WOO-HOO! Yellow showed up last night, so let me be completely honest and blunt with all of you. Jim's awesome FReepathon Team is comprised of the very finest, most loyal and dedicated FReepers on the whole of Free Republic, but 2 month-long FReepathons take their toll and now this FReepathon is the second in a row to go into Month #3. Team members have lives apart from our FReepathons and we're tired. We already lost a couple of long time Team members after our 1st Quarter, and this 2nd Quarter FReepathon is not yet complete. Our 3rd Quarter FReepathon starts next month - in less than 30 days! If you'd like to join our Team, please apply with Jim. The pay is great!! (Just kidding).
To the best of my knowledge, none of our members are demonic-rats, so nobody here should act like a demonic-rat, expecting fellow FReeper-patriot-donors to carry the financial load on their behalf! If you're ill or on a tight budget, that's one thing, but don't you agree it's quite another matter to regularly participate on your fellow FReeper-Patriot Donors' dime, when in fact, you could well afford to donate $10 a month?
If you're mad this one or that one, please first pause to pray and then take it out on that obnoxious idiot, and NOT on FR by withholding your donation! Report the offensive moron! Hit "abuse" and detail your complaint in a note to the moderator. Ignore him or her or write to Jim! (I imagine Jim just loves to read complaints...lol).We can't love everyone here, ya know? Heck, I can name two, maybe three, I'd pay love to see zotted... and likewise I'm sure there are untold numbers who'd love to see me get a big, fat ZOT...LOL.
Back to business!!! Were half of you all, our wonderful, loyal members to reliably and sustainably donate $5, $10, $20, $30 or more Monthly, this FReepathon and all FReepathons would be events of the past!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO DONATE MONTHLY !!
We have 5 very generous FReeper Sponsors; (Tijeras_Slim,The Old lady, RedMDer, Chode, TheOldLady & locountry1dr) who have kicked-in $10.00 for every New Monthly Donor and thus far, we have 46 New Monthly Donors with sponsorship's for 50!
Now, before this snail paced FReepathon concludes, can we please find New Monthly Donor's 47 - 50?
Our Club 300 is doing excellently! I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same.
By contributing at least $100 per quarter or $400 per year to Free Republic, you may become a member of the "300 Club."
Thus far, we already have 198 FReeper-Patriot Donors who have met that qualification and on behalf of Jim and your fellow FReeper-Patriot Donors, we thank you all very much!
