The myth of billionaires 'buying' elections(evil Koch Bros alert!)

Democrats are hypocrites when it comes to decrying big money in politics. They demonize the Koch brothers but remain silent when it comes to the massive spending by labor unions. And the biggest hypocrite of them all is President Obama, who railed against the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision while raising a billion dollars for his re-election in 2012. The majority of that money came from Democratic whales who apparently didn't hear the president when he was lecturing America about the evil influence of billionaires on politics.

Now wait a dang minute. We all know that lib leaning concerns are fine when it comes to campaign donations. 'Cause it's to help make this a better country. Conservatives are only in it to kill all the poor people and to make themselves richer. Well, at least that's what the lib sqwakers say.

When I hear leftists bemoan the evil Koch brothers buying elections and such I point out that the leaders of the Democratic Party are further to the right than are the Kochs on a variety of important issues such as ending the WoD, prison reform, education reform, ending the Patriot Act, police reform, etc.

It shuts them up, for a little while anyway.

Before the ‘Citizens United’ decision, the Left enjoyed a monopoly. Simply put, they hate the competition.

And individuals like George Soros. That's just hunky dory.

And by the way. . .voting. . .these idiots that talk about buying elections are saying they can be bought, that they ARE bought and vote for the 'rich' guy. . .how else to explain all those people pulling the lever for the ‘rich’ candidate. Basically, you can have all the money in the world but the voter goes into the booth and no one MAKES him vote for a particular candidate.

If billionaire bought elections, then, I think, there is the possibility there would be different people in elected office.

The Republicans are the deserving poor. The Democrat advantage is not just with the unions. The leftist millionaires — high tech, Hollywood, leftist heirs of wealthy men — supporting Democrats greatly outnumber the Koch-like donors who support Republicans. And the Democrats have a large army of yuppies and homosexuals who can support them because they have no competing family obligations.

George Soros bought the last two presidential elections.

He didn't waste much money on the congressional mid-terms because they've largely reduced themselves to an impotent debating society for theatrical purposes only.

Once he told me "it's different because the Koch brothers slaves workers have blood on their backs from being stepped on so much"

I kid you not...yes, that's a quote..

Well I believe it. LOL! Not! Did you ask him why the “slaves” took the jobs or why they didn’t quit? Oh, indentured servants probably.
