Former Florida governor and potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said that although his pro-immigration views are not in line with his partys base, hes not going to back down on the countrys immigration problem.
Speaking Sunday on CBS Face the Nation, Bush said hes not going to back down on immigration, insisting the country has an immigration problem and needs a path for illegal aliens
I think we have immigration problem, said Bush. Its a system thats broken. The legal system is broken. We need to narrow family petitioning expand economic immigrants. We need to enforce the law. We cant use this, keep having this be political issue when were missing opportunity to create growth that everybody could benefit from.
Bush continued, Im for a path for legalized status. People get provisional work permit, pay taxes, learn English, dont commit crimes, dont receive federal government assistance and earn legal status. They dont earn citizenship. They dont cut in line with people who have been patiently waiting on the outside. That seems to be a fair system. Those opposed to that dont have plan to deal with the 11 million people that are here illegally.

The Real question is who pulls Jeb Bush’s strings
I’m not going to back down on not supporting Jeb.
The Real question is who pulls Jeb Bush’s strings
I’m not backing down, either.
I refuse to vote for anyone unwilling to uphold the rule of law.
If you want to surrender the rule of law and the country to fraudulently documented foreigners, you’ll do it without my vote.
GOP-RIP
Jeb, go away!
Running for POTUS that American presidential candidates won’t run for.
That right!!
Exactly.
I bought the kool-aid last time about holding my nose, but I had rather fail with the dims and not having it tagged on the GOP.
Who is the doofus sitting by Hillary?
,,,,,,, you go Jeb ,,, please don’t give in on allowing illegals citizenship and my wish of not having another RINO ESTABLISHMENT Bush in the Whitehouse will come true . please don’t give in .
Jeb Bush = Globalist
He wants to ignore federal immigration laws, flooding our Republic with people that can’t even read or write, that are dependent on government with all the babies they have, in order to dissolve our independent culture, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and ultimately the United States as we know it.
By this very fact he is without a doubt..., unqualified.
I don’t care if he gets the nomination. I’ll never vote for him.
Let me tell you a story bout a man named Jeb
Pro-immigration and loves everything Fed
Then one day while lookin for some votes
Promised reform to fool the folks
All paths should start with leaving the country and applying back showing a ten year ability to be 125% above the poverty line all the time they are here
We don't care if you back down or not. You will never be in a position where we have to care what you think. Again, if Jeb's the nominee, i'm voting Democrat.
Ok good for him. Now I won’t back down in my commitment to not vote for him.
I am glad he loves his wife. He is beginning to appear like a guy who lets everyone else in his life lead. His family scares him into some statements he admittedly disagrees with. His wife seems to be the leader on the immigration issue. I am very uncomfortable with him as a candidate.
