Building a carrier is one thing. Staffing and maintaining a carrier group for effective combat operations is quite another.

Only the U.S. and Great Britain have the decades of naval experience necessary to carry out the latter.

Not that we should be complacent but wanted to point that out.

I guess a carrier deck will be ideal for all the muzzies on board to roll out their little prayer rugs to kneel down on when they face Mecca. That’s one pic I’d like to see.

France and India have it. And Britain will have to relearn a decade of not having it.
