I don’t mind being poked fun at because of this but I actually wondered if it would affect ocean level lol. Until I actually looked up how much water there is on the earths.oceans. no worries lolI don’t know why California doesn’t have a dozen desalinization plants up and running already

There was a book years ago entitled, “Is Martha Stewart Living.” One of the things the fictitious Stewart does is to travel to Everest to collect the purest hydrogen and oxygen molecules to make her own water.

Bad headline. Just how is desalinated water 'artificially produced water'? It's just saltwater from which the salt has been removed.

Nobody produced any water.

I drink and cook with distilled water that I buy at WalMart for $0.85 a gallon.

I refill all my empty water 'drink' bottles from the distilled water gallon jug too.

My understanding is that large scale desalinization is energy intensive.

Either you burn a lot of Hydrocarbons (Israel has large natural Gas deposits offshore) or you build a nuke to power it.

Power for it is a big part of the equation.
