A shallow magnitude 5.5 earthquake was reported Saturday morning seven miles from Brooktrails, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 4:33 a.m. PDT at a depth of 23.6 miles.

Texas fracking and global warming. Settled science. Because apparently they don’t teach solar cycles or plate tectonics in elementary school any more, and the Ph.D. folks certainly aren’t learning anything useful in the ‘gender studies’ and ‘Womyn’s History’ courses in college.

I dont know why I find this utter collapse in accurate earthquake reporting amusing but I do.
Will the L.A. TImes abandon the “Quakebot” and return to NORMAL methods of gathering and disseminating information or will we continue to get ever worsening Earthquake reports as Quakebot software becomes more amd more ERRATIC?

Nowhere have I seen any info on whether this presumably privately owned Quakebot..ever received any Federal Funding....or engineering assistance.....but given its functionality..... I’d suspect that it has....
Its only a matter of time......
