Time for neighbors of all colors to join together in a Neighborhood Watch program.

Snort, I've learned not to count on my neighbors for anything and apparently we're the bad guys for getting riled up.

1 - Thankfully the Dell VP ahat neighbor recently moved out but he thought nothing of fences or property lines. If he and his firebug son decided to park their butts in your favorite loungers on your deck and trash it out, they would.

2 - Last year, we had night prowlers so called to alert another neighbor and asked for another pair of eyes. Nope, the wuss was too scared to get out of bed to even turn on his porch light. Just yesterday, we told the same wuss a neighbor was dumping debris on his property and lied that he had wuss' permission. Wussie said it would be too much for him to confront the guy. Yet, they expect us to watch out for their stuff since they're only here on holidays.

That's the tip of the iceberg. Sorry, no more. Yesterday was the last straw. We used to have great neighbors who you could count on but not these days. When it hits the fan, I'll post addresses of the neighborhood wusses on the front lawn and let the chips fall where they may.

I hear you. Most of my neighbors mind their own business and let me mind mine, so we get along just great.

On occasion I’ve had to notify them their siblings were peppering my metal roof with their birdshot or finding an explained bullet hole in my barn siding as they practiced their hunting skills. They usually take me out of their line of fire and I go on minding my business.

Likewise on occasion, neighbors will call to ask if I know the source of those automatic gunfire bursts or the random bursts of a bottle rockets that come out of nowhere and echo through the neighborhood at night.

And people are always finding their mailboxes and road signs nicked or riddled by bullets after a wild weekend night. But the ultimate indignity is when someone shoots your dog or tears down the fence and does donuts in your yard.

I thank God, I live in one of the better neighborhoods down here in Texas. We have a clear understanding and appreciation among us that an armed neighborhood is a friendly neighborhood. Just fire a shot and they’ll come running.

Dell VP

Our middle-class neighbors seem to be OK.

Lots of "Guns and Guts" bumper stickers and that kind of stuff.

Several came over and greeted us last month when we moved in.
