I wish a conservative candidate could cut through all of the decades long welfare crap, and get through to these folks just how this welfare system has actually enslaved them/their communities. Facts don’t lie....Dim *welfare* promises, do.
But Jane...most of them are quite contented to be “slaves” in the welfare system....it satisfy’s them in ways they could not possibly do on their own otherwise. For others staying just inside the poverty lines assures them of far more than they could make on their own without the hard work of getting there. Many do far better because the welfare system is designed to be abused and one care to change it sufficient to get people working....at the costs of those government workers within the system. The list goes on and on!
