The Black Widows Motorcycle Club, while it might carry a looming scary name, is actually the fictitious
The article doesn’t mention them.

Especially not the fictitious Black Widows.
Colonial Americans were among the lowest-taxed people in the history of the world. Largely because most of their defense was paid for by British taxpayers.
Looked up a few numbers, and it looks like the Brits of the 1770s were paying taxes at a rate similar to or even higher than our present federal tax level. Taxes were about 20% of the GDP. We were at 17.5% last year.
Colonists paid taxes at 1/5 to 1/40 those paid by Brits.
Lol. You are profoundly impaired regarding reading of attributions. Perhaps your friends can come to your assistance.
You said it was not mentioned in the article, did you not?
Or did you not attribute your own comment?
Spare me the phony “LOL”.
You seem to be profoundly impaired by your own italicized comment.
Touche’.
Thanks for the laugh.
:)
I really did laugh out loud. You seem deeply confused. Perhaps you're having an episode of lucid dreaming, where you are on a different thread, reading a different article.
I can’t wait until you finally get back aboard your own train of thought.
Wish I could see the look on your face when the synapses collide.
Perhaps this will help:

You’re welcome.
Google it. You’ll find plenty. It may have started out in the mid 60s targeting radical political armed groups but it quickly enveloped in the increasing drug crime world which was very well armed, and often had gang connections selling it and distributing it.
Here’s one:
The US Constitution was devised written down and codified for one reason and one reason ONLY.... No other..
To Limit the scope and power of Federal Givernment.. thats the only thing it does..
Federal Givernment CREEP really intensified after the War of Northern Aggression.. State Sovereignty leaked out.. slowly at first..
It’s called the ruling class... AKA democrapic party.
The Founders did not tax property.
The Founders did not tax property at the federal level. However, they did at the state and local level.
You know, just like we do today.
Actually, the main purpose and effect of the Constitution was to produce a more powerful central government.
After all, they already had a weak and ineffective central government. The problems it caused was why they called the Convention.
As for the War causing today’s overly powerful federal government, post hoc ergo propter hoc.
“Its called the ruling class... AKA democrapic party.”
I agree, but folks need to realize there is only one party ruling this country - the republicrat oligarchy. They have done a good job (with the help of he propaganda media) into getting people to believe they are represented in D.C.
When the Going On Progressive party nominates Jeb Bush instead of Ted Cruz, you will see I am correct.
Actually, the main purpose and effect of the Constitution was to produce a more powerful central government
You’re WRONG... not just a little wrong but completely wrong..
eye rolling.. tongue hanging out, stupid look on the face wrong..
You’d make a good democrat.. or RINO... which is the same thing..
But were talking of a time when America was NOT a democracy..
You know; Mob Rule by mobsters.. when lawyers were rare...

The purpose of the Constitutional Convention was to devise a more effective and powerful central, though still severely limited, government than the Confederacy that preceded it.
That’s simply a fact.
It apparently slipped your notice that the phrase “more powerful” is a relative one, the logical response to which is “more powerful than what?” The answer, of course, being more powerful than the previous system.
