Cuccinelli did not inspire a lot of donations especially out-of-state

For what it may (or may not) be worth, my Personal opinion is that you can only be backed financially by those you will represent - NO foreign cash, and to keep things on ‘up and up’(HA HA) a limit to what ANYONE can draw and strict punishment and/or fines for violating.

People shouldn’t have to raise 10 mill to be a 2 year Congressman but the ‘outside monies’ bring that about.

I know that if the ‘town’ is going to have an election and you have a business in the town but live in the County, you are unable to vote - even though the town council will have a say in how you make money or essentially run your business.

Donations should have the same effect because in todays world, it forces the business to ‘bribe’ town citizens to vote for his choice.

We may not have the best system but it is still up there amongst the tops, as is being the best place to live.

Of course, all the dissenters as to whether this place is the best place to live, are free to depart and let us be.
