gusty's remark is obviously sarcastic, but oh so true on FR. This is especially true when Freepers comment on essays written by Coulter, Noonan, Buchanan, etc. who in large part agree with most of the discussion on FR, but failed to live up to particular Freepers' purity tests.

This essay is one of those simplistic things that anyone who calls himself conservative can agree with, and anyone who calls himself a liberal can say is a pack of lies to make conservatives look better than we are.

I did appreciate the shout out to Coolidge, one of the best presidents we ever had.
