Here is a response to these scumbag cowards: http://journal.ijreview.com/2015/05/244298-no-vox-draft-dodgers-and-war-deserters-dont-deserve-a-memorial-day/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic&utm_content=conservativedaily&utm_campaign=Politics
Those who went to war against Nazis and Communists and Islamonazis WERE trying to stop the wars that were being waged by those groups.
Even in 2003, Bush was stopping the war waged by Saddam Hussein (who’d repeatedly violated the peace agreement from the Gulf War).
Only a day?
Why, they have a WHOLE MONTH!
September is National Chicken Month!®

Maybe we could call it: Neville Chamberlain Day?
Well there was this one Russian guy who prevented a nuclear exchange between Russia and the US. It was a spurious ding on his radar that said we launched and he was being yelled at to retaliate but he didn’t. http://gimundo.com/news/article/the-man-who-saved-the-world-by-doing-nothing/
It’s called April Fools!
In America, the people who do most to prevent war are in the military and intelligence community.
The author is a nasty small-souled pusillanimous faggot.
The way to end wars is to win them. Decisively.
I guess they want to make Bowe Bergdahl a national hero.
Pacifists are the parasites of Freedom.
There is already holiday for those people...Lenin’s birthday (aka Earth Day).
We just had the holiday for those who tried to stop wars.
I can’t decide between Capitulation Day, Surrender Day or Pansy Day.
National Pansy Day has a ring to it though...
The people who fight wars against tyrants and evil regimes are the ones trying to stop war. You win the war, the war stops.
Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.”
Corinthians 14:33New International Version (NIV)
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peaceas in all the congregations of the Lords people.
The only way to peace has been rejected by many of those shout the loudest for peace.
Oh, I can’t wait for code pink day.
I’m all for it because the greatest peacemakers in the history of the world have been the American GI’s. Wherever they have gone, peace has followed, with exception of Vietnam and Obama years when politics trumped the military.
I totally agree that we should have a national holiday for someone who stopped a war.
That’s why I think August 6 should be a holiday in honor of Adam Baum.
