Hmmm I am here in Martinez, and around that time I felt like was slightly being swayed. No jolt this time just a faintly sway. I thought I was going nuts because recently we were having swarms in our neck of the woods. Now perhaps it was that 4.1 I felt.

I think St Helena is the prettiest part of Napa Valley.

“6 miles east northeast of Yountville.” Nice area. If nearby, please visit the Robert Louis Stevenson museum in St. Helena. His stories for children are still wonderful and promote bravery, modesty and thrill. He was an amazing guy.

We just got done with the last of a dozen or so foundation installation/repair/replacement after the last one. 4.1 might crack some plaster or brick, but not like the big one.

That place was a disaster when we rolled into town, some of the houses we ended up shoring up were over 110 years old. In some sections of town every other brick fireplace was on the ground. At the end of the day we ran into a couple guys from the building department and told them we were going to shore up and stabilize some houses and they said keep it going. They issued free building permits right over the counter. It did take a couple of weeks due to most of the city buildings were trashed. They were going door to door all day tagging buildings with OK, warning, or condemned. those poor bastards looked really burnt out.

If it weren’t for the metal building, it could pass for damage by the law.

I cant imagine what doing that sort of job would have been like.

I felt no tremor here in “central” marin county this time.

During the last quake at Napa, it woke me up.
