Prager is not a traditionally religious Jew. He has affection for tradition and emphasizes its utilitarian qualities. A lot of religious believers will find him not to be their cup of tea, although there’s no doubt he’s a positive influence.
Actually, that was my point. Mr. Prager seems to be focused on the history of it all, and he seems to miss the much more important part. The Torah was divinely inspired. It came from God. It’s not just a good idea developed by Jews as civilization evolved.
