ISIS was nurtured in the Syrian Civil War battlefield where Assad’s power was reduced to control IS or anyone else by the rebellion. Outside forces behind the civil war include Saudi Arabia with sympathy from the EU and the Obama Administration (Obama-Hillary) plus the saber rattling of folks like John McCain and Lindsey Graham. Israel has staged several air attacks during the civil war aimed at destroying weapons that could be used against Israel.
There are plenty of culprits in creating the IS and I’m not going to roll over for the self-serving Republican Party propaganda that wants to steer me in the direction of supporting liberal GOPe politicians by total demonization of the Democrats as always being the only wrongdoers in every situation.
At the time, these were Al-Quaida affiliates in Libya opposed to Ghadaffi. The Administration was arming an enemy of the United States named as such in statutory law, the essence of treason, for which there most certainly must be two witnesses. This is why the left has been stiffing any investigation on the topic for years.
I hope when we have our new President, we finally have a Justice Dept. again that will address the crimes that have been committed against our country.

That is what the report on Conservative Treehouse is saying. Remember, the Ambassador was begging for more security in the days leading up to the attack, and his pleas were ignored. Stevens knew what was going on with these arms sales and he knew of the threats to the Embassy.
The whole business of the CIA having 100 personnel in a relatively backwater medium-sized, non-capital city in a small (by population) Arab country, does strongly beg the question, “what were they doing there?”
Benghazi is not among the 50 largest cities in the Middle East, yet the press has zero curiosity about this.
