Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced Saturday that U.S. special operations forces conducted a raid in Syria that aimed to capture a senior leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, and his wife.

No U.S. forces were killed or injured during the operation, Carter said.

Carter said Abu Sayyaf was involved in ISIS' military and financial operations. Umm Sayyaf is a suspected member of ISIS and "played an important role" in its terror activities, Carter said.

That may be because the phrase means "bearer of the sword" in Arabic, so in relation to a person it would be more of a street name than a given name, a bit like "Barnabas" was a street name, meaning "son of comfort" in Aramaic, that people in Acts gave to one of the Josephs of the early church.

Bring out the pork fat tissue fixative for him! Making the Moose limbs lay for eternity in pork fat is a fitting end to the members of the false religion.
