So you’ve bought into the leftwing line about overpopulation, huh?

It’s not a leftwing line, read the statistics. The world population since the 1940s has virtually quadrupled, from 2 billion in 1940 and now we are racing towards 8 billion today. The higher that number gets the faster the population expands. For example during Christs time the world population was 200 million, less that the population of the USA today. It took 1,800 years just to reach a billion. Today we add a billion in less than 10 years. Pretty soon we will be adding a billion every 8 then every 5 years. Where does it end? In most major cities real estate has tripled in cost, quadrupled in some cities like New york city in only the past 20 years. 20 years is nothing in time! 1994 I was paying $640 a month in rent for a one bedroom apartment in Queens NYC. Today the same place goes for $2500. Why? Because the world population is going into overdrive, exploding. This is why we got 3rd world nations flooding Europe, flooding the USA. This is why traffic gets worse and worse every year, why college degrees are pretty worthless when it comes to getting a job and why former rural areas are being developed further and further out. Where does it end? When we reach a world population of 20 billion? 30 billion? It’s not sustainable, eventually something is going to give. Remember, it’s not like it was 60 or 70 years ago, like I said we are living in a time where the population is going into overdrive where we are adding numbers in a few years that took forever to add in the past. So when I read about people have 15 or 20 kids and everybody is congratulating them, I say to myself “Why are they congratulating them? Are we on the precipice of human extinction or something?” “Be fruitful and multiply” may have been valid 2000 years ago when the population was 200 million and the lifespan of the average person was 30 years old, but today it’s insanity. Today there’s more homeless in New York city than there was during the Great depression, and many of those homeless have degrees, they aren’t bums, and some are even employed but getting housing today is virtually impossible because of the immense competition and that’s directly because of people like this couple who think “Oh there’s nothing wrong with flooding the planet with people”. Are you kidding me?
