CONCORD – Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz of Texas announced more than 40 conservatives endorsing his campaign in New Hampshire.
Former U.S. Sen. Bob Smith, R-NH former New Hampshire House Speaker Bill O'Brien, and New Hampshire Executive Councilor David Wheeler are state co-chairmen for Cruz.
"Senator Cruz has distinguished himself as the country's strongest conservative leader in a Congress where too often being an insider is more important than being faithful to the public," O'Brien said.
Smith said Cruz was "the best of the best."
"There's also a personal reason for me in supporting Ted Cruz because he reminds me of me when I started out." He referred to Cruz being on the Senate floor trying to block "Obamacare," similar to Smith's speeches against abortion when he served in the Senate.
Smith said the conservatives were lining up to fight for Cruz, and not coming together to oppose any other conservative in the race.

Could be VOTING is a parlor game for the rubes...
What happens in D.C. is deals in smoky back rooms..
BUT, alas, that would voter fraud on a massive scale..
NAH!.. that couldn’t happen....
** in 2012 a KNOWN democrat appeaser and collaborator was “chosen” at the republican primary’s.. BY CONSERVATIVES..
What was his name?... it may come to me..
RCP averages for NH have:
Walker 17.2 %
Bush 14.2
Paul 12.8
Rubio 9.8
Cruz 9.0
others <6%
He is definitely doing better than the ‘others’
About AMTRACK ???
I don't take the train.
I’ve said before and will say it again Ted Cruz will be President of the United States Jan 2017, he will do all he said he will do, primarily restore our Constitutional Free Republic.
Those who favor other candidates now should get on board with Cruz now, we don’t need to be playing political games we have everything to lose if we don’t have Cruz... Conservatives Unite for a change, stop dividing and denying the obvious; it is Cruz or Lose.
RCP is sooooo pro-Romney, that it had
Romney up by 9, before Mr. RomneyCARE showed
he what a useless imposer of Statism that he is.
Cruz was my man, but he needs to explain his last vote....
Its an average of many polls.
On the planet EARTH Romney WON the 2012 primary, and he easily won the 2012 NH primary.
He beat the next closest contender by almost 2X (and no that was NOT Sarah Palin, she refused to run)
What were the results on your planet?
what’s Gordon Humphrey up to these days?
I’m sure he’d be for Cruz. Not that it matters much, but still. A good old Reaganite.
There are a lot of trolls/fake supporters with an agenda coming out the woodwork.
If you are looking for someone you can agree with all of the time, then you should not be involved in the politics of elections from ANYWHERE!
