Last month, Obama officials sent a letter to Florida’s Medicaid agency, warning that it may not reauthorize $2.2 billion in unrelated Medicaid funding unless the state agrees to expand Obamacare.

Wasn't this tried in the beginning and the Supreme Court struck it down? The original Obamacare said that if a State did not expand Medicaid they would lose their existing Medicaid federal grants. The SC said no way, you can't do that. This is how we got the SC decision that State's could opt out of the Medicaid Expansion portion of Obamacare.

I'm not understanding how they can do the same thing that was already struck down by the Supreme Court. That said, I wish some States would opt out of Federal Medicaid altogether or any Federal money. It's NOT free money coming from the Fed. The money comes from people living in the States to begin with. It makes me want to scream when they act like it's free money that the Federal government has growing on a Federal money tree somewhere and they are generously going to pass it around.

“I’m not understanding how they can do the same thing that was already struck down by the Supreme Court.”

Obama pretends there is only one branch of government.
