Today's show begs the question: Is Rush Limbaugh purposefully avoiding the discussion of such substantive issues as TPP (Obamatrade) in talking about relatively surface dweller nonsense for hours on end (ball pressure) as he did today?!?!~ =S

I think if he discussed the trade deal he would have to side with the Democrats stopping it.

I don’t think he is as informed as he used to be. He’s gotten lazy or hazy.

That’s why I listen to him less and less these days. He is too scared to hit the hard issues anymore if they happen to conflct with his buddies pocketbooks. Rushs time is almost up, he knows it, and is going to milk for all he can just like any good usinessman would.

Yet in choosing not to talk about it, he’s essentially siding with (and perhaps scarier yet, providing outright cover for) the RINO establishment, along with Obama himself. Having Rush Limbaugh on today was something akin to an episode of twilight zone, that’s for sure...

This isn’t new. Rush was Bush’s cheerleader as the Bush deficits went up and up, and the illegal influx went up and up, and the housing bubble went up and up.

I’m not a football fan at all, but Rush sure as heck is, and I KNOW what’s going to happen if people tell him to get off Football:

He’s going to STICK to football. Like, even if he sees this freaking thread.

He’s stubborn about a few things, and football is absolutely one of them.

Against all odds, at just the microsecond he predicted the impending demise of American Football, —BAMMO!— the keep snapped and the ship started sliding into the inky depths.

The process has only accelerated and it’s bothering him more and more.

Eh....I don’t like it either, but if Rush gets a lot of heat on this one, well, measures to get him off Football will seem like back when his mom had to DRIVE Rush to college for the one semester he could stand it (and that wasn’t far from home at all).

“My show is about what I want to talk about...”

He’d just dig in his heels more and more.

Sounds like his satanic saudi masters made him an offer he can’t refuse.

Rush favored NAFTA and all the rest of the agreements since he has been on air.

He always has, and always will. He mocked Perot's concerns about the national debt, jobs to mexico, and similar issues.

I think Rush has been focusing so much attention on Brady's balls because he's been hearing and reading criticism from a segment of his listeners about the amount of attention he's been paying to the topic. The stick-to-the-issues crowd as he calls it.

That's Rush's m.o. He likes it to stick it to his critics whether they are Dittoheads or not.

He adores his audience but if anyone express criticism, he doubles down on whatever it is that sparked the dissatisfaction. Be it Brady's balls, Apple products, his golf outings, whatever.

It seems childish but the formula works for him. Hard to argue otherwise seeing as how he has 20 to 25 million listeners a week.

one can not dwell on depressing issues all the time 24/7. Rush has spent his entire adulthood attacking the infidels and if he wants to talk cultural or athletic or musical ideas, I don’t begrudge him..

My question listening to Rush, was why is he spending so much time on a shallow issue.

I like free trade. I like nafta. I think I’ll like the tpp too. I was scared that the tpp could erode our sovereignty or override the constitution. But I have discovered that treaties can’t override the constitution. They have the same force as legislation though.

I dial in and when he starts off on football, for example, I don’t listen. All the interest in the deflated football scandal completely mystifies me. You can talk about nothing for a time, then it gets tedious. I thought he started off better today, but I couldn’t listen to most of the show.

yes, he would have..
rem. when RUSH, and two other sport jocks on a Monday Night Football Show was
announced/producted; IF that had workouted..RUSH would've quit his political show
and pursued the sport show route..YOU can bet on it.

Interesting post. Felt the same way. Switched over to Ingraham who is on rebroadcast delay time spot which comes on at begining of his his 2nd hour locally. She hammered TTP.

I agree. I love football, also. I am a woman who has been a Dallas Cowboy fan ever since the days of Roger Staubach. I think that Rush is dismayed that the game he loves so much is increasingly being co-opted by the politically correct crowd. Brady’s possible involvement in “Deflategate” and his proposed punishment has been all over the internet the past few days.

“But I have discovered that treaties can’t override the constitution. “

But I guess you missed the part about Obama routinely “overriding” the Constitution. To give this Marxist cretin a scintilla of authority to do anything but play golf for the next 22 months is nuts!

It’s a problem. Rush loves football. He gets to

It has been under attack as part of our culture that has been under attack

Tom Brady’s actions are sleazy. Absolutely sleazy. Like a snubbing BMOC

And the patriots have a sketchy history.

And they are not helping

But to say rush is covering for rinos. Not seeing it
