Officer Matt Kenny of the Madison Police Department will not face charges in the March shooting death of biracial teen Tony Robinson, Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne said Tuesday.

"I conclude that this tragic and unfortunate death was the result of a lawful use of deadly police force and that no charges should be brought against Officer Kenny in the death of Tony Robinson Jr.," he said.

I saw that.

He seemed to be exceptionally nervous, at least in terms of sweating.

I was kind of annoyed listening to his racial history and such. I was thinking why is he telling me this?

But, I have to give him credit, his presentation of evidence was very thorough. based on his descriptions, I agree with his conclusion.

The young man sounded like a legitimate threat.

The usual minority of UW-Madison students will be out demonstrating on the streets tonight.

Most of the others will be out drinking, and don’t give a rat’s *ss.

Please keep my son in prayer. He’s in his late 20’s became a liberal while in college an now lives in Madison. Just pray that he is safe.
Thank you in advance!

I think the protesters needlessly muddy the issue when they go after things like this as opposed to what happened to Garner and Gray. People don’t want the Police to be above the law, but nor do they want anyone else to be above the law.

They simply want to make it impossible to use force against the very most violent slice of society.

They’re going to be trying this Outrage Formula EVERY time it happens —the goal being to Manage The “Epidemic”.

Someone needs to email the video of the Madison DA’s announcement to Baltimore DA Mosby, with a note saying THIS is how it's done when you are competent and NOT in over your head.

The shooting was investigated by state authorities. That's because of a Wisconsin law that requires officer-involved killings to be investigated by officials from outside the law enforcement agency employing the officer involved in the death.

I like that. I would like to see my home state adopt this method of investigating police-involved shootings.
