I saw a few of his interviews. Guy is pretty credible.
That being said, I can only conclude that (1) either he is a great liar - since he ran CIA, very possible, or (2) the Obama political people (Jarrett, et. al)are smart enough to do all their real strategy sessions in private.
Meeting in private keeps all the honest civil servants (oxymoron?) both protected, and on the job - likely many would quit if they really know what was going on.
