What kind of weapon(s) did they have that they were able to get the jump on two officers and kill them both? All officers are on a really HIGH level of alert now, especially when dealing with black suspects. So, I wonder HOW they were able to get the jump on both without at least one of them getting shot?

Heckuva Mother’s Day, two murdered sons.
Early in marriage, I pulled a late nighter doing prep work for Thanksgiving dinner. Early morning news came across that a county police officer had been murdered while serving a warrant. Near on 25-years has gone by but every Thanksgiving morning I say a prayer for that officer and his family.
May the families of the Hattiesburg officers find solace today and in coming years.
