I don’t know if anyone has looked at the whole article or if everyone is just laughing themselves sick on a few initial lines.
Could be the accusations are all lies, but it ought to at least be asked whether they are. Misuse of chemicals IS an important issue.
How many carbon credits has the Post used up on her.
Anything I do that annoys people like that is a bit more satisfying than it otherwise would be.
What did we learn in science class back when they actually taught children in the government schools?
Flowers are actually......
C’mon, you know the answer.
Say it with me.
Flowers are actually... brightly colored sex organs!!!
It’s usually both the male and female part of the plant and it is brightly colored so as to attract birds and insects to spread the pollen and seeds so the plant can, yes, REPRODUCE!
So when you hand over those flowers to your wife or mother this Mother’s Day, you’re actually saying to them. “Here, Mom! Have some brightly colored sex organs! They make me think of you.”
Even if you defy them, it’s still their version of “made you look.”
Or, “Look at the bush festooned with brightly colored, beautifully scented sex organs.”
Liberals are insane.
If I didn't cut them for her, the blooms would fall off anyway. It also encourages new growth and makes for some wonderful gifts to share with friends, neighbors and family when I have to divide them in the fall. Far from being cruel, this active floral management brings me and a lot of people enjoyment and produces more, stronger and prettier plants than just leaving them alone.
To write for the Washington Post, do you HAVE to be an idiot?
Further into her article she explicitly complains about practices pertaining to imported flowers. It does not sound like she cares about the bushes in your yard.
PS I’ve seen such complaints in other venues, where they will conglomerate multiple issues together as though they were inseparable (boycott all ivory for the sake of today’s poached elephants is one such conglomeration).
These cases are dangerous because they are part-truth, part-lie. Just scoffing at them makes one look like an idiot. But so does going down their complete “garden path.”
Yo Jennifer! Princess! Get a frickin’ life and a REAL job you whiny biatch. Geez.
She’s got what looks like it might be some realistic complaints further down the article. But it starts out looking like a crazy twist of her nose. Well, that’s sensation and sensation sells.
Actually, the simpler solution would be to kill off 90% of the human race. Don’t tell me some of these Gaia worshipers aren’t wishing for exactly that!
The moderate greenies might let us live but prefer to relocate and stack us up in mega cities. The typical living quarters? 10’x 10’, poorly lit eco boxes with spigots of (rationed) nutripaste for sustenance.
The high priests of Gaia would of course exempt themselves...
“Liberalism is a lecturing finger wagged in your face, forever.”
Oh, that’s good!
Here’s another one:
“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.”
George Orwell
The author may be right about the excessive use of chemicals or whatnot, but what’s the solution? The left only has one tool in their bag of tricks: government.
From the people who prefer to kill and eat plants.
Do you suppose this stupid bitch has any idea that without flowering plants life on Ol’ Mother Earth would be just about impossible?
Load. of. bull. sh*t.
It’s not the flowers. That gal has a problem with Motherhood.
